Meet Little Tales
Hi, we are Margaret and Mallory! We are glad that you are here and sincerely hope that you enjoy Little Tales products as much as we loved creating them for your little ones.
Mallory is a mom of two active boys, one sweet little girl and two dogs. She is originally from New Orleans, but now lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast next to her lifelong friend and business partner, Margaret Milner. Margaret is a devoted mom to four girls and another one on the way! We are two moms hoping to give you a resource for some quiet moments to yourself, at the same time also allowing your child to have less screen time while engaging in meaningful play. We were constantly searching to provide a fun, engaging and sensory filled outlets for my growing little ones. After an abundance of unused toys sitting in baskets and on shelves, our children were often drawn back to the simplicity of items that allowed them to be creative.
Let’s be honest, caregivers have enough on their plates. To whip together supplies for an engaging activity for our children often takes time and resources that we simply don’t have. Research shows that a child learns best through play. This is one of the main reasons that we wanted to provide a product that was hands on to allow our little ones to expand their imagination and creativity. Each of Little Tales carefully curated kits and pouches will bring new and exciting ways to encounter play and let your little one’s mind imagine, create, and explore.
Here’s a gentle reminder that we are all learning along with our children. There are no perfect parents, we are all doing the best that we can.

As caretakers there are a lot of choices that you make that can affect your little one daily. Little Tales Craft & Play pouches are released monthly on the first of each month. For our subscribed customers, these will be shipped within the following 3-5 business days.

While our products are not necessarily edible, our dough base is made with non-toxic ingredients! Our dough is made with flour, salt, cream of tartar, vegetable oil and premium grade food coloring.
Some of our doughs may contain non-edible sprinkles, confetti and charms.

Little Tales Read & Create Kit is an all-in-one kit. It includes a classic story along with props for your little one to recreate the story with their own imagination. This kit comes with our clear Little Tales bag along with the classic book, props that are organized in a tackle box, two Creative Doughs, and our Creative Ways to Play card. This set is meant to provide ways for you to engage with your children quickly and easily about the book, while providing sensory activities to foster your child’s development.
Little Tales Craft & Play Pouches are a great way for your little one to craft and explore on-the- go. Little Tales Craft and Play pouches come in a resealable stand up pouch along with crafting supplies, one Creative Dough, and props based on the theme. This set is meant to promote self-play and allow a sensory-based activity for your child to explore a variety of topics – from unicorns to camping and more!
